Peel the banana, keep them in turmeric water for 10 minutes. Then scrub it and wash well.Wipe all the water completely. Cut into thin pieces. Heat oil for fry these pieces in medium flame until crisp. Keep aside the fried banana. Combine all spice powders and keep aside. Melt jaggery in water, strain. Take a wide pan to add jaggery water. Boil in medium flame till one string consistency. Reduce the heat to low. To that add 1 tsp of spice powder and one pinch of salt and mix well.Now add the fried banana and mix well.Switch off the flame. Now add spice powder and 1 tbsp of powdered sugar,mix well.Allow to dry. Again add sugar and mix well.After drying completely, take each sharakkara varri separately.So the tasty sharkkara varatti is ready to use.
